Hi, I'm K3MRI
I was raised in a remote part of Québec where amateur radio was neither a hobby nor an interest; it was our only means of communicating with the outside world. In fact, we often ordered from Sears through a friend in Montreal who would place the order for us. Later in the military and throughout my life I have enjoyed, or frankly appreciated, the value and privilege of communicating over the airwaves with people near and far. Not sure if I'm an expert, but I am definitely passionate about the practice of amateur radio. I am also the co-founder of Ham Community and its various websites, including this one. I am always apprehensive that people will like what we are trying to accomplish; here's hoping.
